We are now a family of five! It is so good to have a tiny baby around again. I have found myself cherishing this newborn phase so much. I know how they grow and change, and I feel like I can see and appreciate how precious and little they are at the beginning even more.

With our first baby we were just learning all the time and taking everything in. And a second baby is a lot of that still too.

Now we feel settled and the jump from two to three children has felt quite nice. Still lots of work, but pleasant in a these are a memorable, special few weeks of our lives way.

Baby 3

This pregnancy was my hardest! And in some senses, the labor felt like my hardest too. I have never used an epidural and after this one I kind of had that thought, why do I do this myself? Sort of joking, but also maybe not. I am glad I didn’t get one for my first few babies, but now I feel like I may just go for it in the future. My pregnancy was so hard, I didn’t feel as mentally tough going into this labor, so maybe that’s why I have this whatever attitude! We will see if it lasts.

I could go on and on about how much I love being a mom and our new little youngling, but I will leave it at this for now. Thank you for all your support and well wishes for our little growing family!

PS: I found the best, not ugly baby bouncer that is also not expensive! (Hard to get both.) 40 dollars at Target. Also, I am sharing the baby’s new finished nursery really soon! WHAT.
